Great to make with little effort after a long day of work or class, you can customize what you add to the curry rice based on your preferences. This recipe calls for beef, for example, but you could add chicken if you prefer. The combination of seasonings with the curry roux blocks, however, is what makes this recipe packed with tons of flavor. Ingredients like Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Sauce, Premium Soy Sauce, and Sriracha Chili Sauce act in perfect harmony to accentuate the curry rice recipe with heat, umami, and aroma. The perfect comfort meal that you can make with ease!

How to make it

  1. Wash the rice under cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch. In the rice cooker, add the rinsed rice, water, chopped onion, bell peppers, curry roux, salt, black pepper, Lee Kum Kee Minced GarlicLee Kum Kee Minced GingerLee Kum Kee Sriracha Chili Sauce, Premium Soy Sauce, and Panda Brand Oyster Sauce, stirring lightly to blend the flavors. 
  2. Place the sliced beef on top of the rice mixture. Spread meat out evenly so it cooks uniformly. Close the rice cooker lid and start the regular cooking cycle. Let the rice cook until done (about 15-20 minutes, depending on your rice cooker).
  3. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and garnish with green onion. Enjoy!
