Lomo Saltado is a classic in Peruvian cuisine, and is a star of "Chifa", a cuisine that came to life thanks to Chinese immigrants in Peru combining their flavors with local Peruvian ingredients. A classic lomo saltado recipe is savory and full of flavor, with ingredients like Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce and Panda Brand Oyster Sauce providing key boosts of umami.

 

Take that marinated beef and stir fry it with veggies, add it with rice and French fries into a toasted tortilla, and you've got a burrito packed full of flavor that pairs perfectly with a garnish like Lee Kum Kee Cilantro Lime Flavored Sriracha Sauce!

How to make it

  1. In a bowl, toss the sliced steak with Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Sauce, Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce, Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic, Lee Kum Kee Minced Ginger, and black pepper. Let marinate 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add steak and cook quickly until browned, about 2–3 minutes.
  3. Add sliced onion and tomatoes and stir-fry 2–3 minutes until slightly softened but still vibrant. Pour the remaining marinade in and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  4. Warm tortillas. Divide rice, steak mixture, and cooked fries among the tortillas.
  5. Roll into burritos and toast in a large skillet over medium heat 2-3 minutes or until both sides are evenly toasted. Drizzle generously with Lee Kum Kee Cilantro Lime Flavored Sriracha Sauce before serving.
