How to make it

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil then carefully lower each egg into the pot. Cook for 7 minutes, stirring the eggs gently for the first 30 seconds to ensure an even cook.
  2. After cooking, transfer the eggs immediately to an ice bath to stop further cooking. Once cooled, gently peel and set aside.
  3. Make the marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce, water, Lee Kum Kee Premium Dark Soy Sauce, sugar, Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic, chopped scallions, sliced peppers, and sesame seeds. Stir well.
  4. Place the peeled eggs into a container and pour the prepared marinade over them, ensuring they are fully submerged. For the best flavor, refrigerate and let the eggs marinate overnight, but at minimum, marinate for 2 hours.
  5. To serve, cut the marinated eggs in half and drizzle with  Lee Kum Kee Pure Sesame Oil. Enjoy these flavorful eggs as a snack, side dish, or topping for rice and noodles.
