Give the viral dumpling lasagna recipe a try at home with one of the most mouthwatering dumpling flavors: kimchi and pork!

 

Pork and kimchi dumplings contain a great flavor combination because of how well the tangy and spicy kimchi pairs with the sweet and rich pork meat. Bridge them together with seasonings like Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Sauce and Pure Sesame Oil, and you've got a dumpling lasagna packed with tons of flavor in every bite!

 

This dumpling lasagna has become popular as an easy at-home way to make dumplings, simplifying the process by turning the components into a layered "lasagna" instead of attempting to fold dumplings by hand. Steamed like a soup dumpling to maximize tenderness and flavor, these are perfect with toppings like Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce for aromatic umami, as well as Lee Kum Kee Chiu Chow Style Chili Crisp Oil for complex heat and texture. Don't forget the extra touch of kimchi on top so people know what flavor the dumpling lasagna is!

How to make it

  1. In a bowl, combine ground pork, chopped kimchi, Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Sauce, Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic, Lee Kum Kee Minced Ginger, Lee Kum Kee Pure Sesame Oil, green onions, and black pepper. Mix until evenly combined.

  2. Spoon a layer of the pork mixture into the bottom of small ramekins. Top with a dumpling wrapper, then another layer of pork mixture.
  3. Pour about 2 Tbsp water into each ramekin so the dumpling wrapper can steam properly. Press another dumpling wrapper on top to finish the layered “lasagna.”

  4. Place the ramekins into a pot with water halfway up the sides. Cover and steam for 12–15 minutes until the pork is fully cooked and the dumpling layers are tender.
  5. Drizzle with Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce and garnish with Lee Kum Kee Chiu Chow Style Chili Crisp Oil. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and top with more kimchi before serving.
