The curry rice bowl recipe here is a Japanese-style curry base, with curry powder acting as the primary vehicle for curry flavor. It's enriched with a trio of savory and aromatic ingredients: Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Flavored Sauce provides an umami base, Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce seasons and adds a rich aroma, and Lee Kum Kee Premium Dark Soy Sauce deepens the color of the color for an appetizing and rich finish.

How to make it

  1. Cook the Ground Pork Curry Base: Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground pork and cook for 5 to 6 minutes, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned. Add the onion and cook for 4 minutes, until softened. Stir in the Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  2. Build the Curry Sauce: Sprinkle the curry powder and flour over the pork mixture and stir constantly for 1 minute. Add the Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Flavored Sauce, Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce, Lee Kum Kee Premium Dark Soy Sauce, chicken broth, and honey. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
     
  3. Cook the Curry: Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the curry thickens into a rich sauce that coats the pork.
  4. Dress the Cabbage: In a medium bowl, toss the cabbage with the Lee Kum Kee Seasoned Rice VinegarLee Kum Kee Pure  Sesame Oil, and sugar.
  5. Build the Curry Rice Bowls: Divide the cooked rice among serving bowls. Spoon the curry ground pork over the rice, garnish with green onions and serve with the cabbage salad on the side.
