A quick and spicy take on a simple fried rice, this chili garlic fried rice recipe can be made from start to finish in as little as 15 minutes. 

This version packs heat, umami, and tangy flavors from Lee Kum Kee Chili Garlic Sauce, which is easy to use both during the cooking process and as a simple garnish. There’s extra protein and pop from the edamame as well, along with fresh green onion to make this simple spicy fried rice sing. Give it a try and add your favorite proteins or veggies as well for more variety!

How to make it

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan or wok on medium high heat and add the sliced green onion whites. Cook for about 30 seconds, then add in your beaten egg and scramble. 
  2. Toss in the leftover white rice and edamame and stir well to combine with the egg. Season with 1 Tbsp. each of Lee Kum Kee Chili Garlic Sauce and Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce.
  3. Transfer to a serving dish and scatter the remaining Lee Kum Kee Chili Garlic Sauce and green onion greens over the top. Serve and enjoy!
