This BBQ ribs recipe comes with a sweet and spicy twist - a hot honey glaze infused with honey and smoky BBQ sriracha sauces!
The ribs begin with a base marinade that uses Lee Kum Kee Hoisin, which provides a sweet and umami-backed foundation to the glaze, and saltiness and aroma from Premium Soy Sauce. From there, it's all about the hot honey glaze that takes just three ingredients. Honey Sriracha Sauce adds some sweet heat, and Smoky BBQ Sriracha Sauce adds smoky depth and complex heat that brings the whole barbecue sauce together with just a touch of extra honey to bring back that sweet and spicy balance.
Perfect for the slow cooked baby back ribs used in this bbq ribs recipe, you can also make extra hot honey glaze for grilled foods like chicken and steak, or as a dipping sauce for your favorite finger foods. The possibilities are endless thanks to how versatile the sauce is!
Remove membrane from ribs and pat dry. In a bowl, mix Lee Kum Kee Hoisin Sauce, Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, and black pepper. Rub all over ribs and marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for deeper flavor).
Preheat oven to 300°F. Wrap ribs tightly in foil and bake for 2–2½ hours until tender.
In a bowl, combine Lee Kum Kee Honey Sriracha Sauce, Lee Kum Kee Smoky BBQ Flavored Sriracha Sauce, and honey to create the glaze.
Remove ribs from foil and brush generously with the glaze. Broil or grill for 5–8 minutes, turning and glazing again, until sticky and caramelized.
Slice ribs, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve with extra sauce on the side.
