Add marinade ingredients to a bowl and mix well to combine.
Season chicken thighs with kosher salt and add to the bowl with marinade. Turn as needed to coat completely. Marinate at least 10 minutes and up to 2 hours.
Prepare a grill for high indirect heat. Grill chicken over the hottest part of the grill, moving to cooler zones as needed if browning too fast, until well browned, about 5 minutes per side. Transfer to a cutting board and let rest for 10 minutes.
Transfer chicken pieces to a platter and top with green onions, cilantro leaves with tender stems. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with lemon wedges for squeezing over. Serve with grilled vegetables of your choice! Enjoy!
