Steak Sliders Recipe with Hot Honey Sauce

This steak sliders recipe packs a ton of flavor into bite-sized sandwiches thanks to an oyster sauce marinade and a hot honey sauce.

 

Lee Kum Kee's Panda Brand Oyster Sauce is a perfect pairing with steak. Many Asian steak recipes featured oyster sauce as part of the marinade because it adds salt, sweet, and umami flavors in one easy convenient ingredient. Adding it to your steak or burgers for sliders will take the flavor to the next level! 

 

These sliders are finished with a hot honey drizzle made from Lee Kum Kee Honey Sriracha, which adds a sweet and spicy flavor that pairs perfectly with the savory steak and crisp, acidic slaw. These are great for a quick tailgate meal or gameday eats!

How to make it

  1. In a bowl, combine 2 Tbsp. Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Flavored Sauce, Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce and Lee Kum Kee Pure Sesame Oil. Add the steak and toss to coat. Let marinate at room temperature for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Toss shredded slaw mix with Lee Kum Kee Seasoned Rice Vinegar and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 2–3 minutes per side until nicely browned. Transfer to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes.
  4. In a small saucepan, combine Honey Sriracha Sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, ½ Tbsp Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Sauce, Dijon mustard, and red pepper flakes. Simmer over low heat for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened. Brush generously over both sides of the rested steak, then slice thinly against the grain.

  5. Toast slider buns with butter. Place two squares of cheese on the bottom buns, add sliced glazed steak, slaw, and pickles. Top with buns and serve immediately with any leftover hot honey.
