Cut apart ribs, rinse, drain, and place into a big bowl. Add rest of ingredients (except chopped green onion) and mix well. Marinate for about 1 hour.

Set the marinated ribs on a plate and steam the whole thing at high heat for about 20 minutes till well done.

Sprinkle with chopped green onion, mix evenly, and serve.

If you would prefer fish, substitute flounder in place of ribs. The rest of ingredients stay the same.

Do not remove the lid while steaming or it will not cook through.
