How to make it
In a clay pot, add the rice and water. Let it soak for one hour.
Cover the rice and water and bring to a boil over medium heat.
Add the sugar, salt, Lee Kum Kee Premium Pure Sesame Oil, mix together well, and then add carrots.
Simmer for 5-8 minutes over low heat. Remove the abalone from the can and set aside.
Pour ¼ cup of the Brown Braising Sauce from the can into the clay pot, place the abalone in the center and cover with a lid. Continue to simmer over low heat until the edges of the rice become golden and crispy. Remove the clay pot from the heat and let it cool. Garnish with scallions and enjoy!
