This spicy cabbage salad mix recipe takes less than 10 minutes to prepare and requires absolutely no cooking. All you need is a knife, cutting board, bowl, your ingredients, and something to toss them with to make this cabbage salad mix.

Why We Love It

This mixed cabbage salad isn’t just quick and easy to make—it’s also very refreshing and makes the most of a few ingredients to maximize flavor.

Dressing everything with Lee Kum Kee Sriracha Mayo and apple cider vinegar is perfect for a spicy cabbage salad recipe because it delivers heat, acidity, sweetness, and saltiness to the mix. We recommend adding the 2 tablespoons of masago for umami, especially if you add on grilled shrimp to make it a full meal.

How to make it

  1. Cut cabbage into quarters, then slice thinly.
  2. Trim both ends of the jalapeño, cut in half lengthwise, and remove seeds. Then thinly slice across, forming crescent-shaped strips.
  3. Prepare the sweet peppers the same way as the jalapeño.
  4. In a bowl, toss together cabbage, jalapeño, sweet peppers, salt, sugar, and mix well.
  5. Add apple cider vinegar and Lee Kum Kee Sriracha Mayo, mix well.

Garnish with cilantro leaves and masago (optional).

Note: Grilled shrimp also goes well as a garnish for this salad.
