How to make it
Boil sea cucumber and drain. Bring 1.5 cups of water to a boil with the ginger, green onion, garlic, and oil. Once this mixture comes to a boil, add the sea cucumber and simmer for 30 minutes over medium heat. Remove the ginger, green onion, and garlic from the pot.
Wash the lettuce and cut it into four portions. Cook them in boiling water with oil, drain, and place each portion on a plate.
Mix all seasonings (except the abalone sauce). Add the seasonings, Lee Kum Kee Abalone in Premium Oyster Sauce, and shrimp roe to the sea cucumber pot and bring to a boil.
Add cornstarch and the sauce from the Lee Kum Kee Abalone in Premium Oyster Sauce.
Place all the ingredients on the lettuce and pour the sauce on top.
