Air Fryer Chili Garlic Tofu

How to make it

  1. Wrap the tofu in paper towels and transfer it onto a plate. Place a heavy pan on top of the tofu and allow it to sit for 30 minutes to drain. Cut the tofu into ½” cubes.
  2. Add the cornstarch into a resealable plastic bag. Then add in the tofu. Seal the bag and shake until the tofu is well coated. Place the tofu into a bowl and drizzle in 1 tablespoon of the olive oil. Toss to combine.
  3. Place the tofu into the air fryer basket. Cook the tofu in the air fryer at 370˚F for 12-15 minutes. Check the tofu halfway through, and if they look powdery, drizzle a bit more olive oil on top. Cook until golden and crispy on the outside.
  4. Heat the remaining olive oil in a large pan over medium high heat. Add in the green beans and sauté until they are almost fully cooked. Then mix in the Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic, Lee Kum Kee Minced Ginger, and salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 30 seconds.
  5. Add in the Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Premium Cooking Soy Sauce, Lee Kum Kee Chiu Chow Style Chili Oil, rice vinegar, and brown sugar. Mix to combine. When the sauce starts bubbling, continue to cook for about 1 minute. Add in the Lee Kum Kee Pure Sesame Oil and air fried tofu. Cook for 1 minute and mix until the tofu is evenly coated in the sauce. Remove the pan from heat.
  6. Serve the tofu with white rice and garnish with sliced green onions. Enjoy!
