Celebrate Halloween in a tasty way with this Spicy Pumpkin Shaped Cheeseballs recipe! We use three different coatings to create different "pumpkins": crushed nacho cheese chips, crushed blue corn tortilla chips, and paprika.

 

Other ideas could include black sesame seeds or other coatings to create the colors you want! The choice is up to you, just don't forget to add some Lee Kum Kee Sriracha Chili Sauce to give these pumpkin cheeseballs a spicy kick.

How to make it

  1. Add the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, roasted red peppers, green onions, garlic powder, and Lee Kum Kee Sriracha Chili Sauce to a medium bowl. Mix together with a wooden spoon until evenly combined. Add salt and pepper to taste, and cover and chill for about an hour.
  2. Add crushed nacho cheese chips, paprika, and crushed blue corn tortilla chips to separate plates, based on the amount of each color pumpkin you want to make. Use a tablespoon measuring scoop to get a portion of the cheese mixture. Roll into a ball and set on a plate. Continue until all of the cheese mixture is rolled into balls.
  3. Roll each of the balls in one of the prepared coatings and set aside.
  4. Use a wooden skewer to make marks up the side of each ball and across the top to achieve a pumpkin look. Place half of a pretzel stick into the top center of each mini cheese ball, then garnish with a small leaf of parsley.
  5. Refrigerate until you're ready to serve. Enjoy!
