This chicken gnocchi recipe is a one skillet meal that's packed with flavor, cream richness, and a special secret ingredient that you might not expect.

 

That secret ingredient is Lee Kum Kee Hoisin Sauce, which adds layers of sweetness and umami to the chicken gnocchi. Made from fermented soybean paste, hoisin sauce has a deep earthy flavor that pairs with all of the flavors in this skillet and adds dimensions of taste that make this gnocchi recipe one to remember!

How to make it

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Add chicken, season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165° Fahrenheit. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  2. In the same skillet, melt butter and add Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in chicken stock, scraping the bottom of the pan to deglaze and absorb the flavorful bits.
  3. Add heavy cream and gnocchi to the pan. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and the gnocchi becomes tender.
  4. Lower heat to medium-low, then stir in Lee Kum Kee Hoisin Sauce, smoked paprika, sundried tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Add baby spinach, stirring until wilted. If needed, add a splash of water to loosen the sauce. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, stir to coat, then remove from heat. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and enjoy!
