All of the comfort of a classic shrimp and grits recipe, but with a sweet and spicy twist from a hot honey glaze.

 

By combining the sweet heat of Lee Kum Kee Honey Sriracha with succulent shrimp, you get a boost of flavor that pairs perfectly with the rich, creamy, and cheese cheddar cheese grits. Great for brunch or a comforting Southern twist for dinner, this is perfect for any time of the day and simple enough to make at home!

How to make it

  1. Cook the grits by bringing chicken broth and milk to a boil. Stir in grits, reduce heat, and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese, butter, salt, and black pepper. Cover and set aside.
  2. Season the shrimp with smoked paprika, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Sauté the shrimp in butter over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
  4. Glaze the shrimp by adding Lee Kum Kee Honey Sriracha Sauce to the pan, tossing to coat. Cook for 30 seconds until warmed through.
  5. Serve by spooning cheesy grits into bowls and topping with hot honey shrimp. Garnish with chopped green onions and enjoy!
