Cube the tofu and place in a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Cooking Soy Sauce, stir, and let it rest for at least 5 minutes.
-
While the tofu marinates, add all the sauce mix ingredients to a bowl and mix until well combined. In a separate small bowl, whisk 2 Tbsp. water and 1 Tbsp. cornstarch to create a slurry and then mix them into the sauce bowl until well combined. Set aside.
-
Drain the tofu and transfer ⅓ of the tofu cubes into a freezer bag with 1 or 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and toss to coat. Repeat this step with the remaining tofu and cornstarch. Add more cornstarch if needed.
-
Once the tofu cubes are coated with the cornstarch, heat the oil in a large skillet and add the tofu cubes.
-
Cook the tofu cubes over medium-high heat until all sides are golden brown. Then pour the sauce into the skillet and cook until it thickens. Garnish with the sesame seeds. Enjoy!
