How to make it

  2. Trim off the bottom of the mushrooms and cut into thick slices, about ½ inch thick. Score each side of the mushroom slices in a crisscross pattern. Be careful not to cut all the way through.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic, Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Premium Cooking Soy Sauce, Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Flavored Sauce, Lee Kum Kee Pure Sesame Oil and five-spice powder. Reserve about ⅓ of the sauce and toss the mushrooms with the remaining sauce and marinate for 20-30 minutes or up to an hour at room temperature.
  4. Preheat your grill or your cast iron griddle/grill pan over medium heat. Once the grill is hot, lightly oil the grates. Shake off excess marinade and then place mushrooms on the grill in a single layer.
  5. Grill each side for about 3 minutes. Baste with the reserved marinade and grill each side for another minute. Transfer to serving plates, garnish with green onion, and serve right away. Enjoy!
