How to make it

  2. Partially freeze the meat for about an hour to make slicing easier. Slice thinly (about ¼-inch thick and 1½-inch wide) and across the grain. Keep them uniform in size, so they cook evenly.
  3. In a large bowl, mix all marinade ingredients, add sliced pork and mix well. Cover the bowl, place in the refrigerator and marinate for 2 to 8 hours.
  4. Thread the meat onto skewers by bunching them together, creating folds like an accordion.
  5. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, cook leftover marinade for about 10 minutes to slightly thicken. 
  6. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium heat and brush with a neutral oil. Cook for 4 minutes, then brush with the sauce, turn, brush again, and continue cooking until the internal temperature of the meat reaches 140°F. Serve with rice. Enjoy!
