This might be the simplest orange chicken recipe you can find, and its all thanks to the Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Sauce for Orange Chicken


It takes all of the guesswork out of preparing the orange chicken sauce because each pouch or bottle has all of the ingredients you need measured out. All you need to do is coat crispy chicken in the Sauce for Orange Chicken, serve over rice with your veggies of choice, and enjoy!

How to make it

  1. Cut chicken thighs into ½ inch pieces and coat evenly in corn starch in a large bowl. Do not dry chicken beforehand so that the cornstarch has moisture to stick to. 
  2. Add vegetable oil to a pan about ¼ inch high and turn the heat to medium high. Once oil is heated, add chicken into oil and spread out so that it all cooks evenly. Cook for 5-6 minutes per side without stirring, flipping when chicken pieces reach a golden brown. Cook in batches if needed. 
  3. Remove chicken from pan and drain of excess oil. Discard oil from frying pan safely and return to medium high heat, add the Lee Kum Kee Orange Chicken Sauce and stir until the sauce bubbles, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add fried chicken pieces and toss carefully to coat all pieces evenly in sauce. 
  5. Distribute white rice evenly amongst three bowls and top with the orange chicken. Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds and enjoy!
