Recreating this restaurant appetizer favorite at home could not be easier, as this easy lettuce wrap recipe is ready for you to pack in the protein and fiber this dish provides in just 15 minutes.
This version is for pork lettuce wraps, but depending on your protein goals and dietary needs, you could easily swap in ground chicken, ground beef, or even tofu. They all act as perfect canvases of flavor for the Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Sauce for Lettuce Wrap, which acts as both the seasoning and the dipping sauce for these wraps to keep everything simple.
Heat neutral oil over high heat in a frying pan. Add ground pork (or chicken) in a thin layer and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Break the pork up into small pieces and add the water chestnuts, carrots, and bell pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Add 6 oz. of the Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Sauce for Lettuce Wrap to the pan, saving some back for garnish. Toss well to combine and stir through 3 of the chopped green onions and toasted peanuts if using.
Spoon a few tablespoons of the mixture into separated lettuce leaves to form the lettuce wraps. Drizzle with remaining Sauce for Lettuce Wrap and garnish with remaining green onion and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
