How to make it
In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese and sugar. Place a wonton wrapper onto a clean surface. Spoon about 1 tsp. of the cream cheese mixture onto the center of the wrapper.
Use a pastry brush to brush the edges of the wrapper with the beaten egg.
Bring two opposite corners of the wrapper up to the top and pinch them together. Repeat with the two remaining corners so that you form a small pouch. Repeat steps 2-4 to make the remaining wontons.
Bring a pot filled with about 4 inches of oil to 350˚F.
Working in batches, add some of the wontons to the oil and fry until they turn golden brown. This should take about 3-5 minutes.
Remove the wontons from the oil with a slotted spoon and allow them to drain on a sheet tray lined with paper towels. Serve the wontons with the Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Sweet and Spicy Grilling & Dipping Sauce. Enjoy!
