How to make it

  2. Preheat the oven to 450 °F. While the rice is still warm, add in 2 Tbsp. Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Dipping Soy Sauce and black pepper, then mix with a spatula or rice paddle. Take about half a cup of rice into a small bowl. Shake the bowl left and right a couple of times to create pre-shaped rice balls.
  3. Make a small hole in the center of the rice with a wet finger and add some shredded cheese. Cover the cheese with a small amount of rice on the top. Wet your hands with water, then gently press rice together to form a secure rice ball. Repeat with remaining rice.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the sauce mix ingredients and mix thoroughly. Brush the rice balls with the glaze.
  5. Place the rice balls on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and bake them for 4 to 5 minutes. Re-brush the glaze every 2 minutes flipping the rice balls and glazing until you get a nice golden brown. Enjoy!
