Preheat the oven at 325°F. In a large oven-safe pot, or Dutch oven, heat vegetable oil. Season beef cubes with salt and pepper then add to pot and sear beef in batches. Set aside.

In the same pot, sauté chopped onions and Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic (if the pan seems dry, add a little more oil). Sprinkle flour, stirring to create a roux. Cook for 1-2 minutes.

Pour in Guinness beer to deglaze the pot, scraping up any browned bits.

Return the browned beef. Add beef broth, tomato paste, Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Flavored Sauce, bay leaves, and thyme leaves. Stir and cover. Braise in a preheated oven for 2 hours.

After 2 hours, add carrots and potatoes. Continue braising for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Adjust seasoning, discard bay leaves, garnish with parsley, and serve. Enjoy!
