How to make it

  1.

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and cook bacon for 20 minutes, or until bacon is almost completely crispy.
  2. Meanwhile, in a small, ovenproof skillet, add oil and the onion. Cook until lightly golden, 7 to 8 minutes. Add in the heavy cream. Bring to a simmer. Remove the skillet from the heat and add the cheese.
  3. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted (you may need to stir once to encourage even melting), 6 to 8 minutes.
  4. Brush bacon with Lee Kum Kee Hoisin Sauce and return to the oven to caramelize while the cheese melts. (Keep a close eye that the bacon doesn’t burn)
  5. Chop Hoisin bacon and pile on top of melted cheese. Garnish with Lee Kum Kee Chiu Chow Style Chili Crisp Oil and serve with your choice of bread, crackers and assorted vegetables. Enjoy!
