2003 Lee Kum Kee Summertime Sponsorship Events

This summer Lee Kum Kee (USA) Inc. continued the longstanding tradition of supporting local community events. From New York to Chicago to Los Angeles, Lee Kum Kee was involved in promoting goodwill events with local communities. By actively supporting local community events Lee Kum Kee has directly facilitated a greater understanding of Chinese sauces and Chinese cooking with the American people. This Summers events included: Los Angeles Tofu Festival, Chicago Chinatown Summer Fair, New York Chinatown Summer Festival, New York HIP Summer Field Day, New York University Downtown Hospital Event, and the 13th Annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in New York City.

	Los Angeles Tofu Festival: More than 20,000 people attended the festival, which featured hundreds of tofu based dishes. All the proceeds were donated back to local community.
	Chicago Chinatown Summer Fair: Lee Kum Kee participated in this event for the 1st time this Summer; they were well received by the Chicago public.
	New York Chinatown Summer Festival: Lee Kum Kee successfully introduced the new Soy Sauce series and Chicken Bullion Powder to the New York Chinatown Community.
	New York HIP Summer Field Day: Lee Kum Kee donated the proceeds from the HIP event to the Gouverneur's Hospital who is recognized as a leader in service to the New York City Chinese Community.
	New York University Downtown Hospital Event: The New York University Hospital held a special fund raising event this summer. Lee Kum Kee participated and donated products to event patrons.
	13th Annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in New York City: 109 teams participated in this year’s Dragon Boat Race. Lee Kum Kee was an event supporter helping to expand the understanding of Chinese cultural events in New York City.
