CONTEST RULES
|

|
1) |
ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS: This recipe
contest is open to culinary students residing legally in the United States, who
are 18 years-old or older, and who attended the Chef Danhi’s Lee Kum Kee
Asian Sauce Seminar at a participating culinary school. Employees, directors or
agents of Lee Kum Kee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its
advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, and the
members of their immediate families and/or households, are ineligible to
participate or win. All winners may be asked to sign a participant release
form, a statement of eligibility and/or must hold a valid drivers license or
identification card. Contestants are required to provide truthful information
to Lee Kum Kee and Lee Kum Kee will reject and delete any entry that it
discovers to be false or fraudulent. Entry forms with incomplete recipes or
multiple recipes will be disqualified. Each person may only submit one entry
form in this recipe contest, and this recipe contest is subject to the
accompanying Culinary School Recipe Contest Entry Form.

Decisions of Lee Kum Kee management with
respect to the contest are final. Odds of winning depend upon the number of
entries received and the recipe judged based on the criteria set. Winners must
execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Release of
Liability Prize Acceptance Form within ten (10) days of notification attempt or
else the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be chosen from the
remaining eligible entries.

CULINARY SCHOOL RECIPE CONTEST ENTRY
PRIVACY POLICY - By entering this recipe contest through submission of the
Culinary School Recipe Contest Entry Form, you (i) will assign your
intellectual property to the recipe to Lee Kum Kee and (ii) agree to Lee Kum
Kee’s use of your personal information and the use, adaptation, publication or
marketing of your recipe by Lee Kum Kee in marketing, advertisement, website
recipe, promotion, PR, POP, and other sales and marketing related activities
with no additional monetary reimbursement or attribution to you. All contest
entries and entry forms become the property of Lee Kum Kee and will not be
returned.

CONDITIONS: All contestants agree to be
bound by the terms of these contest rules, and all federal, state and local
laws and regulations apply to this recipe contest. Payments of all federal,
state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may
be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent. By participating in the
contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness
used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest
without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a
publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, Lee Kum Kee, in its sole
discretion, may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any)
to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold Lee Kum Kee, its parent,
subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders,
directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless
against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the
prize or participation in the contest. Lee Kum Kee, in is sole discretion,
reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process,
the operation of the Lee Kum Kee Web Site or is otherwise in violation of the
rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest
if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer
virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any
sort. Lee Kum Kee reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the
contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will
become effective upon announcement. For event-related prizes: If due to
circumstances beyond the control of Lee Kum Kee, the event is delayed,
rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, Lee Kum Kee reserves the right, but not
the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to
award a substitute prize. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result
in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of Lee Kum Kee. Lee
Kum Kee is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing,
the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a
prize. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when
complete) are available during regular business hours at the main office of Lee
Kum Kee, 14841 Don Julian Road, City of Industry, California, 91746. Each
contestant understands that Lee Kum Kee is not liable for injuries, losses, or
damages of any kind arising from participation in this contest and acceptance,
possession and use of any prize.

PRIZES - All prizes or prize certificates
may be picked up at the office of Lee Kum Kee or may be mailed through
certified mail or alternative postal services from 14841 Don Julian Road City
of Industry, California, 91746. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize
certificate not claimed within forty-five (45) days of winning. In the event
that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the
prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of
its loss. Lee Kum Kee is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or
prize certificate. Note: There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent
for prizes, except that Lee Kum Kee may, at its sole discretion, substitute
prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the
item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other
expenses. Other restrictions may apply.

The contest will start August 14, 2007. Deadline for submission is 30 days
after Lee Kum Kee Asian Sauce Seminar was hosted at each participating culinary
school. Results will be announced by the 45th day after each seminar; if the
45th day falls on a weekend or holiday, the announcement will be on the next
working day. Winners will be notified by email and announcement will be sent to
the participating culinary school.

This recipe contest is
intended only within the United States and is governed by California law. This
recipe contest and all aspects of is recipe contest are void where prohibited.
